Agadir was rebuilt after the 1960 earthquake and is now Morocco's most modern resort: wide boulevards, a long beachfront promenade and hotels along it. That modernity is precisely why the history and the landscape are outside town. Everything British holidaymakers come for - Paradise Valley, the argan co-operatives, walled Taroudant, the pink granite at Tafraoute - needs a vehicle.
Agadir is also Morocco's biggest charter destination from the UK, which shapes how we work here. Flights land at awkward hours, package transfers stop at the big hotels only, and anyone staying in Taghazout or Taghazout Bay finds taxis thin on the ground. A fixed-price private transfer solves all three, and the price does not change when the charter is late.
The second half of our Agadir work is excursions. 4x4s are in heavy demand because the roads to Paradise Valley and the almond valleys around Tafraoute are narrow mountain routes. For the larger hotel groups we run coaches on the standard Taroudant and Marrakech circuits.
