Rabat is where Morocco governs itself, and it feels different from the rest of the country: ordered, green, walkable in places and far less pressured than Casablanca or Marrakech. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, listed for the way a modern capital was built alongside a 12th-century Almohad city.
Our work here divides between official and cultural. On the official side we handle embassy runs, ministry appointments, conference transfers and long-term accounts for diplomatic staff and international organisations, where discretion and punctuality matter more than anything else. On the cultural side, visitors come for the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, the Chellah necropolis and the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern Art.
Rabat is also perfectly placed for touring. Casablanca is an hour down the motorway, Meknes an hour and a half inland, Volubilis and its Roman mosaics two hours, and Tangier two and a half hours north. Many travellers use the capital as a quiet base and drive out each day.
